Apprenticeship Programs
In collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training Office of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), IFEA and DOL will assist your organization or agency establish an Apprenticeship Program and its related training. Apprenticeship is an effective combination of structured on the job training and related technical training. For example, IFEA and DOL can help private security companies develop an 18-month Private Security Officer (PSO) apprenticeship program to include homeland security, disaster preparedness, emergency management, investigations and more. We could actually develop several programs one for various professional levels. The program can be tailored to your organization's needs. Participants would receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program. Together we will develop a Career Lattice based on apprenticeship standards helping you build a skilled workforce to compete in the 21st century!
